The Standard DIMMs PC3-10600 (1333MHz) DDR3 240-pin ECC Registered usually ships from the manufacturer with of RAM. In some cases, when upgrading, you will need to remove the existing memory and replace it with your new, higher capacity memory modules.

Memory kits are shown on the Upgrade Options Tab as “2x” and then the single module capacity. For example, 2x1GB would consist of two, 1GB memory modules for a total of 2GB. A 4GB memory kit would consist of two or more like modules that total 4GB.
